    Dear Amy,

I found your post on the WordPress support forum here:

    http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/blog-terminated-unrightfully

My 10 years old brother is having the same problem too. He had not violated any of the terms of service but his ‘blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service’ (URL: http://ahmadalikarim.wordpress.com/)

May I ask, how did you get your blog back? My brother sent them several notes at a few links but we haven’t receive anything from them yet. My brother had began the blog 6 years ago in 2008 and he had published 909 posts, from the short, funny little paragraphs about ‘yummy food’ to articles on his thoughts and opinions and his stories and poems. Can you please advice us on what to do?

Hi – fortunately, the problem was resolved within 24 hours. When they shut down your blog they notify you in your dashboard section and provide a link where you can reach out regarding the termination. I explained to them that they had wrongfully terminated my blog and requested that they investigate the issue. Within a couple of hours I received an email from an admin who explained that my blog had been cited by their spam filter and they reversed the termination. But I wasn’t able to view my blog, because it still remained “terminated.” I had to reset the “cookies” on my computer and restart it. Once I did this my blog was reset and restored. I hope this helps.

        Dear Ameeme,

Thanks! We had sent a few messages through the link provided at the dashboard a week or two ago but we thought there would be another way of contacting them. My brother had finally heard from one of their happiness engineers a few hours ago and it was finally explained that they terminated my brother’s blog because he was under 13 and they needed my parent’s consent. After my father replied to their mail, they restored the blog almost immediately.

And thank you so much for trying. It means a lot to us 🙂
